This is a bit of a tourist trap kind of restaurant with inflated, Western prices, rather than feeling like an authentic Ecuadorian food experience. The food is very average. And if you order a natural fruit juice, they put sugar in it unless you specifically ask otherwise. Obviously most people don 't want sugar in fruit juice because natural fruit is sweet enough. This was my first time in Quito and while I was walking around the city center I wanted to eat at typical Ecuadorian restaurant and this one was highly recommended. The restaurant is inside a colonial building that it has been transformed into shops and restaurants, it has a nice center courtyard and shops all around. It is located on the third floor and the decoration is like entering a church, I was not very excited about that. The food is good, many typical dishes to chose from, good portions and affordable. I am glad I visited and I would definitely recommend it if you are ever in Quito.
