Hardware Cafe - Feedback

Was Jason P at Hardware Cafe a mag?
The ambiance was pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional. The coffee was slightly overdone, but the chicken omelette was beautifully presented and tasty. Served on toasted sourdough bread, it was packed with chicken, tomatoes, herbs, and just the right amount of cheese. Easily the best chicken omelette I've ever had. It was a generous portion and well worth the price. I would certainly return again. View all feedback.
What subtle with design dislikes about Hardware Cafe:
I hate to do bad reviews but I bought a breakfast wrap and it was the most tasteless, cardboard like wrap. It was awful. I am so disappointed because breakfast wraps are usually my favourite Sunday Breakie treat for myself but I'm sorry it was bad. I didn't even finish it. The seagulls thought it was great. The service was fine, a nice looking little cafe but I'm sorry to say I won't be returning. View all feedback.

We were in the area for an appointment but had arrived early and asked for a recommendation for a place to get some coffee and maybe cake.Good recommendation - the staff were friendly and efficient coffee was very good and a good choice of food must admit on reading the menu I'd love to try their breakfasts.Originally we were simply going to have coffee but on entering realised that we needed a meal. Ours was a rushed visit and on explaining that our food was served quickly and eaten just as quick. The place filled up quickly by 12.30 pm and there were always people coming in for takeaways so their reputation must be good across the board. There is a large outdoor eating area as well as the inside cafe - If you're in the area I suggest you pay them a visit you won't be disappointed.
After noticing Dome in Mindarie had a huge line on this particular Sunday morning, I decided to give Hardware Cafe in Quinns Rocks a go.
They have a very good breakfast with good choices ,and very reasonable prices, we have been for lunch also and that to was good
Meals are always tasty and good value for money. Display cabinet is full of yummy treats and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food here is better then all of the eateries at Ocean Keys and Im excited that they now have a takeaway menu.
Hardware cafe is a relaxed family friendly cafe that offers a wide range of snacks and larger meals for breakfast or lunch. My children love the menu and don't mind the wait as there are colouring in activities to keep them entertained. For the size of the meals it is very reasonably priced and the staff are exceptional

Popped in to the Cafe today first time in about 8 years, the service was good, the food was very good, I had the toolbox breakfast, strange name but hey it was really good, I just about managed to finish it. My wife had chorizo scrambled eggs again the was plenty of chorizo and eggs, she had the gulten free option which was great as some cafes still don't offer this. The coffee was stunning, seemed to be fairly popular still and I can taste why. Highly recommend. I will definitely recommend and return.
After flying in from brissy the day before we were staying at quinns rocks. We found this cafe had high reviews. We ordered coffees and 3 meals for myself, my wife and baby daughter to eat in. Coffees came quick and were very high quality, but that is were it ended. We ordered a burger roll, smashed avo on toast and scrambled eggs on toast. 30 mins later we got our food and at best it was warm. Burger rolled was overcooked and warm, scrambled eggs and smashed avo on toast was nearly cold. Were the only people eating in and this is really not good enough. It is a busy cafe on the morning for coffee and see why, but the rest is to be desired.
Would not do the $10 wrap and coffee special on the weekend (no mention of this on the sign that was up on Sunday) Brekafast burger only had 1 egg,not 2 as mentioned in description Expensive coffee
Our family decided to support more private local businesses this year but were very disappointed in the unfriendly service. Coffee is good but can taste so much better when delivered with a smile. Seems as if staff don’t like this job. Breakky burgers were dry and overdone. We were not able to eat the bowl of chips.
My partner and I love supporting local business however, I would not recommend supporting this local business. My partner ordered a toasted bacon sandwich and they gave him a bacon wrap with spinach and hollandaise, he ordered no egg and he is allergic and the wrap had hollandaise sauce. I ordered toast, avocado and hash brown and they gave me toast with butter and I am lactose intolerant. They didn’t ask if I wanted my toast buttered. The vegan options are also mislabeled in the menu. Im not sure if the staff need more training or the menu needs more clarification. We will not be returning, instead we will go support Union Kitchen at the Marina.

Fairly consistent food re portions, presentation and quality. Good value for money and generally tasty. Haven't had a bad experience to date!
Have only been to the QHC for coffee but we had dinner there prior to our junior footy club end of season function last night. Lovely service throughout and the food was excellent. Steak for me and prawn pasta for the boss. Both were tasty, well cooked and I recommend the pepper sauce, best I’ve had. The only downside was not knowing it’s BYO. A Shiraz with my meal would’ve topped it off. Great night all round though and highly recommended.
Overall, the food was good despite the initial issue with the eggs. The service was fantastic, although the benches were a bit uncomfortable. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant is located in a shopping center in Quinns. Despite the small inconvenience with the eggs, we would gladly return to this restaurant in the future.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant. While the exterior may not be very impressive, the quality of the coffee inside exceeded my expectations. Although I didn't stay for a meal, I would definitely stop by again for a caffeine fix. This visit has piqued my curiosity to try more from this place in the future.
