My friend and I ordered a homemade cinnamo... read more First of all, the charm this restaurant has is amazing. Such a beautiful history and I loved seeing it all in person. My friend and I ordered a homemade cinnamon roll, a piece of breakfast casserole, bacon, two biscuits with gravy, a coke from the grocery, and a sweet tea for $20... and all of this is homemade, locally sourced, and farm to table. My favorite place in Tallahassee is Bradleys Country store and they make their gravy with their sausage. The biscuits were real and homemade. This absolutely blew our minds. My grandmother couldn't even make that that good. The bacon he actually served while still in the frying pan. That was classy. The cinnamon roll has like crispy sugary cinnamon in it and there are no words to describe how good that was. The best part was by far the breakfast casserole. My friend and I should not have split that because we were fighting over the last bite literally. We ended up splitting a centimeter haha. It was so fluffy, the onions were perfect, the eggs. I mean it was so fresh. Next time I come I'm just taking everything that's left! I will be back and bringing friends!!

While there are plenty o... read more I just finished lunch at Damfino's, and today's special was a pulled pork sandwich accompanied by seasoned greens and squash casserole. While there are plenty of other options available, the organic, vegetarian, and vegan choices are definitely worth a visit. However, the lunch I had was truly enjoyable. It was incredibly tasty, fresh, and nutritious—definitely something you shouldn't miss. I might need to return just to pick up a whole squash casserole to take home. A big thank you to Mikey for encouraging me to come back!

I did, after eating the first one!! Some downtown friends have been meeting there after work for a glass of wine or beer. It is so intimate and relaxing before going home after a stressful day (volunteering? You can pick up dinner to take home, and some groceries. No reason NOT to stop by around 5. If they are out of Key Lime pie, you will know who got there first.

But it's the people who keep me coming back. The people who work there and who eat there. When I go to Damfino's, I leave happy as well as well fed. This might seem a bit over the top but check it out and you'll see I'm right.
