My wife and I went to this restaurant as very poor French British tourists. we were made to immediately feel welcome and the owner explained the menu in English for us what was appreciated. that was nice to eat. the service was modern and we. do not feel rushed. we had booked our table quite early, compared to the European style of eating later in the evening. when we were halfway through our main course, the restaurant had filled and the atmosphere was alive and funny. a beautiful evening.
A wonderful interieur and delicious nuevo French food. the personal spoke English very well and the answered all ask quickly. the wine selection after glass or bottle was extensive and not overpriced. bark stew was fresh and beautifully aromatized. I'm back!
This bistro is located on the main road, on a small side street, a small jewel of a fund. it is bright and clean with friendly staff. they even cooked me a vegetarian meal that was delicious, followed by a dessert of the fig in wine. with glacier. drinks are offered at a reasonable price, like the meals.
My man and I spent a night in quimper and were looking for a good meal on Monday night. trip advisor found cote bistrot but we had no high expectations. have we ever been surprised? the owner was kind and patiently explained the menu. of the evening in English. the prix fix was very reasonable, maybe 25 euro and sounded good. the wine list was excellent. our evening dinners were excellent and beautiful! our entrees were hot melted camembert in a crumb twisted bowl and a little green salad packed. the most important courses we have chosen were a delicious local sea with a lot of delicious vegetables in a sose. the final of fresh strawberries in a lemon crumbled sauce had upset us. the restaurant was certainly known for the locals who filled the place until the time we had left. beautiful evening!
Stumbled across this restaurant in the pouring rain when the place we had wanted to go was full up. It's away from the main touristy area, on the other side of the river, but only a few minutes walk, and so worth it. The lunch...time menu was 18.90 euros for 3 courses, 14.90 for two such amazing value as each course was divine...packed full of flavor and beautifully presented. I couldn't fault any aspect of the meal. The staff and owner were professional and attentive. What a wonderful find!
