I recently dined at MXT and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and was quite bland, which was a letdown. To add to my dissatisfaction, the prices were quite steep, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and regretting my decision to dine there. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you’re in search of good value and tasty Chinese cuisine. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱600–800 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Mxt Restaurant has made a fresh change by updating their decor from traditional red to a bright white, creating a clean and modern atmosphere. The seating is comfortable, thanks to the new furnishings. Overall, the food was average; it wasn't bad, but it didn't particularly impress either. The service wait time was moderate, likely due to being understaffed, but there were no hygiene concerns. Here are my dish ratings: - Yang Chow Fried Rice: 3.7/5 - Hototay Soup: 2.5/5 (the asparagus had a strange taste) - Salt and Pepper Spareribs: 4.3/5 (soft, tasty, and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice) - Pansit: 4/5 (another standout dish) - Camaron Rebusado: 4/5 (pairs well with sweet and sour sauce) - Stuffed Beancurd: 2.5/5 (it seemed like they forgot about this order, but it was served quickly after two follow-ups. It was still piping hot, but the beancurd tasted a bit off, the meat filling was ordinary, and the sauce was just okay; it’s better with the sweet and sour sauce). Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱1,200–1,400 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Camaron Rebosado, Salt and Pepper Spareribs, Special Pansit Canton.

We visited Mxt three days ago and were thoroughly impressed. The brisket beef, sweet and sour pork, and particularly the congee with century egg were standout dishes.
