Tiquicia - Quesada

We had a great culinary experience here! We've got the chicken rice, the sea bass special and a beef. The food was amazing and fresh, and the service was also great. Recommend to anyone looking for delicious, authentic local food!

Unbelievable! We had the best food in Costa Rica. We loved it so much that we went to dessert too. Make yourself a favor, order the coconut ice cream. They make it fresh, and it was really good. We were even blessed with a visit of a few toucans to observe in the tree while we dinate.

This place was something outside the bustling city centre, but so worth the short ride. The location was nice and the service was good. I had the Garbanzo-Casserole with chicken and it was excellent. The drinks were also delicious.

Absolutely excellent! Such a wonderful alternative to the bad quality tourist centric gimmicky restaurants in the area. At Tiquicia, the food is authentic and tasty. I ate here several times in a few days. The only dinner I had in another place in the area I wish I was in Tiquicia. Drinks: delicious and well made. Coladas with real fruits. Excellent ceviche, excellent patacons, attracts all excellent and with generous portions. Desserts... You must have the homemade flan and the homemade coconut ice cream. You also have a coffee fan that is so rich and delicious I am now with flashbacks. Server Adan was an excellent communication partner and a gracious and attentive server. I cannot recommend this place enough for restaurants in the area. Look at my pictures I like to eat!

Our favorite restaurant during our whole trip in Costa Rica! The food was incredible and authentic, the restaurant itself was very nice, they had parking, and the prices were so reasonable. Added bonus: there's a toucan that hangs out in the tree next to the restaurant! Our server Adán was awesome and we were so pleased with everything that we went back for dinner again the next night. The jugó (natural) de maracuya was perfect and the cazuelita de chicharrones and pelea de gallos were our favorite.
