Italianissimo La Fortuna - Quesada

Comment from an Italian: best pizza in La Fortuna. He used a good tomato sauce and real mozzarella and a classic dough. It is not an American pizza, but comes close to Italian pizza. Of course, in Italy you have better products and it will be even better, but I was more than happy with the result here.

This pizza is ridiculously good!! Incredible taste and perfect consistency. Not thin crust, but also not thick, only somewhere in the middle. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Absolutely recommended and if we were still in the area, we would go again!

Great deal of food, but the wait time is a little bit long.

The food was decent. It wasn’t spectacular, but it was pretty good. The service was a bit lacking. Overall, I would try it again, but I’d likely try other Italian options in town first.

Amazing Italian food! Freshly made pizza dough and made in the house dough. The Alfredo sauce is the best I had in Costa Rica! Pasta itself is absolutely delicious and the ravioli are amazing! The house wine is delicious, served in very beautiful wine glasses and quite expensive. The walls have hand-painted murals that depict different scenes from the area and Italy. The pizza, my goodness, the pizza is the best in town! The pizza crust is handmade in the house, tasty and crispy also soft, perfect amount of fresh toppings. The waiting staff speaks English and the owner was there and thanked us personally for coming. Excellent place for date night or the whole family!
