Got the most basic dish of all time because I figured you can’t go wrong, but boy was I surprised. The eggs on sourdough toast lacked any kind of seasoning, $11 for additional avocado, is a daylight robbery, but I thought I’d give it a go, thinking perhaps it might be spectacular avocado, we are in Queenstown after all! Definitely not worth it, avocado was watery. Matcha also tasted like pure hot milk, don’t waste your money on this. Sourdough toast lacked the texture of a traditional sourdough. The bread was basically just as good as a loaf of home brand white bread from the grocery store. The service was good though, the staff were friendly and attentive. Had brunch at Odd Saint and enjoyed it. I had the vegan smash burger, which was absolutely delicious, and my mum had Earl’s Eggs Your Way. We also had two cappuccinos, which were great too. I did find it a little pricey, but the food was genuinely good and definitely worth trying. The servers were also very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer.
