I have been going here since it originally opened. Chicken pita is my go to as I enjoy the sauces and the just eight doneness of the chicken. The pita is finished in a sandwich iron which gives it an extra crunch.Dec 2023: The shop is reopening after a fire. Everything is repaired. Do give some courtesy to the staff in training. What Aditya Gupta doesn't like about Donair Dude:
It's a clean establishment, a bit pricey, but the food was not that great. I don't feel good after eating. The food was a little on the bland sife. The people were nice and the service was good, so I feel bad writing this. I had the falafel wrap. View all feedback.
It's not wrapped properly. It's too loose that of you cut them in half the veggies and other ingredients are falling off.
This location has really disappointed and frustrated me, after reopening post-fire/closure. There are a lot of new staff really struggling, resulting in confusing chaotic and slow service. It takes forever to have my order done, surpassing 15 minutes just for a pita the other day. The space is extremely small and crowded, with no clear lineup nor anywhere to stand. Delivery driver orders seem to take precedence over anyone in-person. Just really somewhere I'm keen to avoid now.

Donair Dude used to be my favourite Donair in New West. I had been anxiously waiting for them to reopen, so I finally went to try it again. I was thoroughly disappointed. The portion size used to be great, but just look at the referenced image I took of my pita. It cost basically $13 for something I could eat in two minutes it was so small. I highly recommend Shawarma Corner just up the street instead, which gives more food for cheaper.
