There are many... read more Whenever I visit New York City, I make sure to visit Bareburger whenever I wish to eat filling American comfort food, in a lively casual setting. There are many restaurants and eateries whose vegan options are not as delicious as their regular food options, but I 'm glad that Bareburger is not in this category. In other words, their vegan food options are just as delicious as their non-vegan options: I know, because I 've been here both before and after I became vegan. My favorites here are the Forager burger, which is an Impossible Burger (with a vegan red meat alternative) with truffle frizzled onions, baby kale, and smoke sauce; the Good Catch The Gulf vegan fish burger, and their vegan carrot and chocolate cakes.
