I was already a bit disappointed, which was served as a cake in the caffe. the tree cake was neither fresh nor worth its price. dry and hard with little taste, but really expensive. Maybe that's not always the case, but that's still hanging.
In addition to what you expect, the café also offers other cakes and also warm kitchens. The service is beautiful and fixed, the waiting period until the food on the table was pleasantly short. Although we had two identical foods, they clearly differed: One part had much more (and thus too much) pepper, which could even be seen wonderfully in the residual sauce. The toilets were fine, a washing machine probably repaired more or less fresh, but an open spot in the wall and the partial tile on the edge does not look so good.
We just went in for a quick Baumkuchen to go as a souvenir. Waitress was unfriendly, not one single question if we need any help, no hello, no good buy probably a place full of tourists all the time where you don't need to...be friendly as guests won't come back anyway..
It was a nice taste of some German cuisine. The coffee was also really good, it was nice to sit out on the main Platz and soak up the atmosphere. The waitress was working alone having to deal with a busy Sunday morning. So service...was slow, however it was worth the wait
Highly recommend this cafe for a coffee stop during a stroll around the old town. Located directly on the main square, it offers fabulous ice cream specialties and the Baumkuchen cake is a must
