Unfooled! The entire restaurant has an artistic vibe, from the decor to the chairs. The menu offers fantastic options for surf, turf, and vegetarian dishes, all of which are not only visually stunning but also incredibly tasty! This place is truly remarkable, making it a perfect complement to such a wonderful museum. The menu items are just $18 and quite filling. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Tempera:
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. It took a long time to be seated, and I had to ask for a menu since none was provided. I ordered salmon, but I didn't realize it would be part of a larger dish. When my entrée arrived, it was too spicy for my taste, and I don't eat spicy food. I informed the waiter about my concern, and they assured me they would make sure my dish wouldn't be spicy. However, after so... View all feedback.

However, after some time, I was told that the salmon was out of stock. I ended up taking whatever the staff suggested. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, nearly everything was too spicy for me, except for some bread, greens, and shrimp.

Absolutely impressed! The entire restaurant has a stunning artistic vibe, from the decor to the chairs. The food—whether you choose surfing, turf, or vegetarian options—offers beautifully presented and incredibly tasty dishes. What a fantastic place, perfectly suited for such a lovely museum! The menus are just $18 and definitely satisfying.

Nestled in Quebec, the National Art Museum impresses with a vast, thoughtfully curated collection spanning historic to contemporary Quebec artists. The striking architecture and peaceful atmosphere create an inviting space for art lovers and families alike. Exhibitions feature notable works, from Inuit art to innovative design displays, while interactive elements and unique spaces heighten the experience. Visitors are advised to allocate ample time for exploration and enjoy free permanent exhibitions until April. Though the café offers limited vegan options, the museum’s enriching environment and engaging exhibits make it a must-visit destination. Reservations and mindful planning enhance the overall experience.

An excellent art museum! I wasn’t sure what to expect since we come from NYC, which has a lot of art museums, but this one was wonderfully curated and presented. It was fantastic to discover some incredibly talented artists from Quebec. The building's architecture is also impressive. The standout for me was the David Altmejd piece, The Flux and the Puddle. It's such an amazing and intricate work! I could have spent hours just admiring it.

There’s a lot to see and experience here, with something for everyone! I particularly loved the contemporary art exhibition and the displays on Québécois design history. The space is quite expansive, so make sure to allocate plenty of time to explore everything. Be ready to walk a lot, and don’t forget to bring a water bottle! They close at 5 PM, so plan accordingly.

Very good museum in Quebec. Bourdais exposition was fascinations as we were able to meet a québécois artist. The staff was very very kind, they showed they really like their job and the museum

What a good museum! Multiple floors in three buildings, joined by a pedestrian tunnel. From historic to contemporary, works from Quebec artists, Quebec scenes. Impressive exhibition of works by Inuit artist, Manasie Akpaliapik. Entire gallery for each of several artists, including Pellan, Lemieux, Riopelle, Leduc, etc. Fun pictures as part of Mimèsis, where people re-created paintings in their own homes. Creative use of the former jail cells in the Baillairgé pavilion, currently for displays about the Rohingya. I spent two hours, but it would be easy to spend longer. Nice gift shop. The café on the ground floor of the main building didn’t appear to offer any vegan meals.
