Scores - Québec

We went to the Place Vertu Scores restaurant at 5pm 2 days ago. Salad bar was OK but some trays needed to be replenished. Restaurant was not that crowded. We ordered quarter of chicken with French fries and that meal included salad bar. We ate the salad which was ok. Then the chicken came and it was NOT very well cooked. You could hardly get the meat off the bones. It was not barbecued well. The colour was faint like it was cooked in the oven. Very bland, awful. My husband chicken breast was fine but still lacking colour and taste. We did not tell the waitress anything because we figured we will not return. We went many times to Scores restaurant in Laval and the food there was super good, tasty, well cooked. The service at the place Vertu Scores was good. Then we went to the salad bar to eat fruits. They had watermelons, WHITE, hardly any red, not ripe watermelons, also the had melons which were not ripe and you could not even eat as a salad, very bad fruits tachât you are supposed to eat at the end of a meal. The fruits were the worst quality ever we've ever eaten. You could not even eat the fruits with sugar, very hard to cut or chew. We will NEVER return to this branch. Again service was good, price was good, but quality of food is mediocre.

I had never eaten ribs raised at this restaurant but, as my wife had the taste of this food and we were on site, we decided to try this place. The service is quite impersonal but the ribs were excellent. There was also a soup bar and salad for those who like this; and what we offered was of good quality and fresh.

May 1, 2017. My Spouse and I had the salad and fruit bar including cake and coffee. The cake and coffee is included Monday to Friday. The two meals came to $20.50 plus taxes and tip. We were served by INNA. Inna always goes the "extra mile" for us. She is very fast, efficient and very pleasant at all times. This restaurant is situated in Place Vertu shopping mall near Winners. The salad bar is always very fresh and plentiful, beautifully arranged.

Portions are smaller than they used to be. Food hot and served quick or slow. Just tell the wait people when to serve. Take advantage of the free salad bar when ordering chicken.

This was an average restaurant. The food and service was good. It is like any other Scores I have eaten at. Good chicken.There are 3 Scores restaurants in this area so be sure you are going to the right one if you are meeting others!
