Long VERSION: we found ourselves in Quebec on an evening where a parade was taking place, we wanted to eat in a small street. good reception but slow service, perhaps due to the fact that we had only taken one of the cheapest dishes, moreover very ordinary in taste. On the other hand, the wine was weak in any case for Mediterranean palaces. So we chose not to risk taking dessert there and the note came: on the tax-free bill, we had added to the hand 15%, whereas usually we had the choice of the tip amount. In addition, we were introduced the machine for the cb, directly the nip (code) to write, while everywhere else we were asked whether the amount was the right, if we wanted to give a tip, a sum, or a percentage: 15,20 or 25 %. And then, the code typed, we discovered that the sum had gone from a little less than $100 to almost two hundred dollars and that was not just a mistake of the kind "the number 1 hit by mistake in front."

As we walked in... read more As we were walking around Quebec, we decided to have lunch and spotted this beautiful and inviting restaurant in front of us---The L'impreviste. As we walked in, We were welcome by the friendliest owner and his stuff in English. They explained the manu and special of the day. The food was amazing and the experience wonderful. We recommend this place highly! This was definitely the highlight of our trip!

The food is delicious, the margarita pizza and spaghetti bolognese with cheese was fantastic. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It is difficult to obtain a table in Quebec restaurants if you just want a cocktail and not food, this restaurant welcomed us everytime. They also made a great cocktail. We would definately visit this restaurant again.

The salad and the sticks were very tasty! The pizza was ok more or less with some improvements to be done for the future. I would choose this restaurant again!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking in Quebec City and ended up having breakfast there twice because of the great food and the server who was attentive, funny, and made us feel very welcomed. We wanted to have dinner there as well, but unfortunately, it was our last few days of our trip. Thank you very much.
