Great experience. Burgers were juicy and loved the choices. Poutine and maple chips were yummy and they had a nice beer selection. Service was very friendly and fast. Nice stop when visiting Quebec City with limited time to see city. Definitely recommend!
Pretty funny it's called chic shack but there is only one chicken sandwich option. The chicken sandwich is actually really good, a lot smaller than I thought it would be though. The sides are pretty good too, the peppered maple chips are pretty good. One of the best things about this restaurant is if you get a window seat, you have great views of old town and all the people who are walking through.
The food and drink were tasty, and people were friendly. I went there alone and it was nice to sit by the window. Although, It was a bit cold. The mango soda was one of the most delicious drinks I’ve had. I really really liked the Cocorico salad too.
We ordered the vegan poutine and what we received was okay, but not quite what we were expecting. We really enjoyed the addition of tofu which was plentiful and delicious, but the sauce tasted more like a standard tomato pasta sauce rather than traditional poutine gravy. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite meet our expectations of what poutine should be.
