My family and I went here for breakfast while visiting Quebec City. When we got there we realized we were short on time because we had booked a cruise. The waitress overheard our conversation and put in our order quickly. She also ensured we got our meals in plenty of time for our excursion. The food was good but a bit more expensive then I was hoping. The atmosphere was good and they have a patio which was perfect considering the weather.Overall it was alright.
This restaurant is in the main hall of the Le Concorde hotel where I stayed in Quebec City.I had breakfast every morning, 11 times in a row, in this restaurant. The buffet is not very special and I would recommend instead the "Yogurt Montagnard", a very nice bowl of yogurt with berries and cereals accompanied by baguette toast with butter. We had it every morning.The service is good but the time it takes to have breakfast is unpredictable and is highly dependent on who takes care of you.The size of the glass of orange juice and the final price vary also a lot. I asked for exactly the same 11 times and I payed (with taxes and tip) between 13 and 16 CAD.
There are numerous vegetarian choices available, as well as a vegan pizza option. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food is exceptional!
Only had an order of toast and coffee for a light breakfast; both were fine (how hard can that be, really). Lost one star for the price: $8 for order of toast is excessive.
