Thankful... read more So fortunate that this restaurant is located where we stayed ...Hotel 71. Ironically, our Tuesday arrival coincided with many restaurants being closed. Thankfully, Matto was open and we enjoyed it so much that we also dined there Wednesday night too. Two of the best meals, ambience, and accompanying service of our visit ! Overall, we devoured the egg plant parmesan appetizer, Cesear salad, spaghetti pomodoro, mushroom risotto. Wine list included many price points that included unique selections. We chose a bottle and brought the remainder to our room . Service was very professional, chatty, and friendly, hip vibe in a cool vibrant setting. Side note....we loved this Lower Town location away from the touristy Upper Town chaos. St. Roch only $10 taxi ride away. Great hotel experience overall!
