The wines were good and reasonably pr... read more After spending a week in Quebec City, I had the best meal at this restaurant. The Spaghetti Fruta Di Mare was exceptional. The wines were good and reasonably priced. Compared to our dinner the night before at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, this meal was far superior.

The aroma of fresh ingredients is complemented by the delicious cuisine and impeccable service. The wine selection is also impressive. We highly recommend trying the parmesan fondue and pasta with clams. It is advisable to make a reservation, but be prepared for a possible wait.

The waiter was very friend... read more We arrived late to our hotel and noticed that Matto was still open. We were seated at a table outside and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The waiter was very friendly even with a large group of patrons to serve. After a long day of travel we were able to enjoy a relaxing meal, taking in a beautiful view of the Old Port district

The Mama's salad and pr... read more We would love to return to Matto. Because we had a reservation they offered us a very fancy table, but we chose to dine outside instead. The Mama's salad and prosciutto arugula salads were perfect. The mussels in marinara (appetizer), vongole pasta and lasagna were also very good. A nice evening.
