We had the Ballotine au poul... read more We found this caterer wondering from one full patio to another. This little gem was much worth being told everywhere else was full. We had the Ballotine au poulet and the Jarret d'agneau (chicken and lamb) and they were both delicious. The meat was melt-in-your mouth yummy and the portions were fair for the price (keep in mind this is a caterer, not an Olive Garden.)! We finished on a high note ordering the cheese cake, accompanied by some strawberry mouse. Delicious! Great food, amazing service and awesome atmosphere. This stop is definitely a must.

Try the Brandade, cod with mashed potatoes topped with Tapenade (olive mixture) or 'the Hachis parmentier au canard" (sort of sheppard's pie made of duck oigons and Porto with pureed Yukon gold potatoes.) The "Tataki of salmon" is also one of my favorite. In fact every thing they serve is from the entree to the desert. Very fine cuisine.

We stopped and browsed the menu board and the offerings caught our taste buds. We met our friend and went back for an evening dinner.The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful and catered to food allergies. We met one of the chefs who created our fine dinners from apps to desert. This was A and would recommend.If you to old port Quebec search this restaurant out you will not be disappointed.

The f... read more Positive-: Fantastic food- Great servicenegative-: setting (feels like eating in a cafeteria-) pricyWe enjoyed a 5-course meal at the Equilibre yesterday. The food was exceptionnal: great presentation, great taste, great pay on texture and contrats, served hot. The service was very good, too. On the downside, the room itself feels more like a take-out counter (despite the decor) and didn't fit with the high quality food/service we received. But hey, the place is relatively new and perhaps they will relocate. Also, this is not a cheap restaurant. With the groupons, it cames down to a reasonable price, so without them, I would find it expensive. But again, sometimes you pay alot for something OK. Here you will pay for extremely good food.
