We ate here twice when just fancying a light meal. It is the only place we've eaten where the meals did justice to the photos outside. We had a plate of breaded prawns & a plate of ham & cheese with dips. Couldn't finish it all. Second visit we shared a plate of ham & cheese with bread & a jug of white wine sangria for 20 Euro inc. tip. Locals eating there, always a good sign & we'll return in September View all feedback.

Maybe we have unusually high standards (though I don't believe so) but this might have been the worst meal I have ever paid for. Our fried shrimp "tapas" appetizer was large, cornmeal batter blobs with a tiny shrimp hidden in each one, served with a non-descript, pink mayo based sauce. The "fish and chips" consists of processed, pressed together fish parts shaped into a paddle shape then breaded and deep fried, serve... View all feedback.
We never ate here, but would drink a few drinks after eating. always a great measure and even if you do good performances. they always played great music.
We had eaten four days here at lunchtime. portions were quite large and very fresh. service was good. the prices are very reasonable. they will be recommending
On holiday with my fiancée and my elder. in the first night we called here and had a burger and a beer, all good, served by a man. another night we called for drinks, the same one served us, again it was good....We called for lunch for the third time, but nobody came to take our order. a dame went in a few times and out of the bar, cleared a few tables and ignored us. another couple sat in the wait and nobody took their order, and they finally left. waiting for 25 minutes to order food, the dame had not yet taken our order or even asked if we wanted a drink so that we went and went to another place along the coast. very disappointed were the first 2 visits great, but on the third visit that was completely ignored 25 minutes was unacceptable.
We only dropped in for a beer and this Cafe offered a nice view and shelter from the sea breeze. All I can say is as an expert in the consumption of Superbock lager this was not a great pint which 3.30 it should have...been. Wind permitting I'll stick to the beach bar just a short walk up the prom and where it's a decent pint 2.50
Went here for lunch on the final day of our stay. I had read several reviews about how friendly and welcoming it was and thought it would be the ideal spot for our last meal. It was also just around the corner from where we...were to get picked up. When we sat down a very dour man approached to take our order .There was no welcome or greeting and he did not offer any menus or suggestions. We ordered lunch which came quickly but was uninspiring. When paying the bill there was still no communication. So mch for a friendly family run business. Will not be returning on our next trip
