Sorry but worst food I have ever eaten in my life.. the waiter and waitress were v kind but seafood dish was cold and prawn still frozen.. the pork belly 95% fat..hope I don’t have food poisoning.. would never leave a comment but just to save others.. gorgeous setting but horrific food!! The most posh restaurant at old village apartments resort. Prices are not too bad and the food is excellent. Try the crispy chicken with orange sauce

Artisan is a nice restaurant in a beautiful stately building, about 1.5 km from the port of Vilamoura. It is somewhat hidden in a project with luxury holiday homes. It has 4 floors. On the ground floor a lounge and bar, on the 1st floor the restaurant, the 2nd floor is for private dinner, and on the 3rd floor is a beautiful rooftop with a view to Tivoli hotel and the ocean (not in use) It is nicely and cozy decorated, we are served by a nice waitress from Ukraine. The manager is stressed, which does not improve the atmosphere. It has a nice menu with fish, meat and 3 vegan dishes. There are also 2 beautiful vegan starters! Many residents from the neighborhood eat here with their families. There are few people from the outside, probably because it is outside the center. Elyas ' food was very tasty (Papaya salad and Palm heart with rice), my food (Dumplings and Risotto) had too little flavor to be really tasty. Free parking. Ps not easy to find on Google maps. The restaurant is on it twice, and the navigation just picks up the wrong pin, which is about 100 meters wrong.
