Jal City Aomori - 青森市 日本

Stayed during the nebuta period and the offered taxi discount was not available during nebuta.. if only we were told this earlier in the guest portfolio. Otherwise, can’t fault the stay. Hotel also gave out the JAL cup noodles after the firework parade at night. Breakfast was very very good. Apple products were fantastic.

Stayed for two nights at JAL City Hotel in Aomori and was pleasantly surprised. Though the building shows its age, everything is well-maintained and in place. The service and room quality meet standard expectations, and the inclusion of afternoon tea for two days was a delightful touch. Impressive offerings for the price range. Slept very well and would recommend.

Hotel is a bit far from train station and restaurants area but it's near Toyota rent a car that why I choose here. The room is clean and room size is ok for guests who have big luggauge. Staffs can speak English just a bit and hard to communicate with them.

Overall a great hotel in a prime location in Aomori. The service is excellent at this hotel. The rooms have a great view of the water and city. Close to restaurants, downtown and waterfront. Good value.

Stayed the king corner room on the top floor. It had a panoramic view of the bridge and the bay. Quiet. Clean. Size enough for 2 adults and a large suitcase. Bed and pillow were supportive and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The amenities included the usual ones plus mouth rinse and facial masks. Very thoughtful. Besides, the room was equipped with Dyson hair dryer. Nice. Unfortunately, safe box was only available at the lobby front desk. It's within walking distance from Aomori Station and bus terminus. Quite a few good restaurants nearby. Very convenient. Highly recommended.
