The Laneway Pyrmont - Pyrmont (NSW)

This place is confused what it should be. good, great space, but the ambiente and the staff are less than stellar. the menu is hard, but under deliveries. the employees were so uninterested to serve us (even if there was absolutely no one else at the place) we had to go up to their table to ask a bill to delete our table and ask if we had more drinks or even dessert had been a very good start to improve the status of this place.

Amazing bark and pork sun roast. we all loved it including the children. really friendly and attentive staff. can't ask for more, top thing. would definitely recommend.

Great food and service. Sunday dinner was excellent we have the bark meat and the Filo bakery veggie option. both came with rust vest and all the important yorkshire pudding.

We arrived 1.5 hours before the show in star and had to call the waiter to order after 15 minutes to eat. the place was almost empty and the kitchen was not busy, but had 3 employees. Eating lasted 45 minutes to arrive and meant that we had only 15 minutes to eat our food before we had to go. slow service, small serviettes, eating was average, not worth it through any stretch of imagination.

The restaurant has really chic decor and chilled ambience, they’re extremely short staffed so the food options are limited, would have liked to know that before we booked. The staff were just three blokes trying their best given the circumstances, food was ok.
