Miam. Its French for mmmmm Yum! Cute little cafe on harris street with trendy decor, good coffee and tea by rabbit hole dining. They have a bunch of pastries on offer and some beautifully crafted patisserie items (like what you'd get at Petal Metal Sugar). I got the awesome "matcha sticks' - and arrangements of matcha flavoured dessert sticks made into a cake! How awesome is that! Lovely people running the store too... View all feedback.
Very nice little Patisserie near the Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments in Pyrmont. Got the Indo bacon & egg roll which had a perfectly cooked runny egg ???? & because it's never too early for dessert, I got a cheesecake brownie! Staff were very friendly and welcoming & the coffee was good too!

It's easy to miss Miam Patisserie if you aren't looking for it! It's camouflaged in street shops but if you look carefully, it's decor is simple and refreshing. The staff is wonderful and attentive. I ordered the earl grey tea and the matcha concord. I do like the small cake size that wasn't too sweet for me (which I like!). The earl grey was generous and very nice. Definitely come back to try other items on the menu!
So the Green Matcha latte is on trend like so many other matcha infused creations that have popped up over the last few months, like their matcha sticks held together into mousse - for starters, great imagination here! So when they do a Brown Sugar Meringue or Raspberry Shortcake, you're left with a warm and fuzzy feeling of appreciate. Totally unprepared for the magic that was the PEAR CARAMEL: Caramel mousse, pear jelly, ginger cake on a crunchy almond base! I'm not typically a desserts person, so perhaps in a sense I'm easily pleased, but I just really loved the contrasting velvety textures, mushiness from the fruit and crunch from the base - such an unexpected combination of flavors that work sooooooo well together! The treats are on rotation - so call in beforehand to check what's on the menu for the day in case you're going in for this particular recommendation!
