I went there without reservation and not necessarily with my 2-year-old child and I will gladly return it to reception, service or even food. Everything was perfect. My son had the right to a good piece of beef in addition to the potato, he loved himself, but it was above all the chocolate marrow that loved him the most.
A serene atmosphere with gray shades. A smiling and affable staff. At the table, real successes combining flavors and textures. Fresh products. But a disappointment for beef medallions whose tenderness was not at the rendezvous. In dessert, white food with cherries was a real pleasure.
After a first visit 16 years ago in this same restaurant, we return as a couple again. To make it simple, everything is once again at the height of our expectations. It was delicious. It is often possible to criticize so-called gastronomic restaurants to make an impasse on tastes for the benefit of the visual. Here both are perfectly balanced. The situation of the restaurant, is not exceptional no sea front for example) but the terrace makes its effect and the proximity of the boulevard of the ocean is not embarrassing, despite the regular passage of cars. The decoration of the tables is pleasant. It is possible to have lunch in the room. We have tried the discovery menu, depending on the mood of the chef, which can sometimes reserve some bad surprises and a risk not to love some ingredients because it is a little unknown. Here, the associations are really successful, without a culinary revolution, but it is simply very good. And finally that's what we expect from this kind of establishment. We've come out together. Here are some pictures of our dishes. A small remark on the beef that deserves more sauce/jus, or even a small container has been added. Similarly, a pity not to provide Bordier type butter to accompany the whole meal as much as the bread is very good. It's a remark I made in most of Arcachon's restaurants. Very surprising for a city of crustaceans and shelling. Finally, it didn't ruin anything on the whole dinner. Very correct addition for the quality of the dishes: 180€ for 2 with 4 cups of champagne and flat water. Thanks again for your welcome, the quality of the very discreet and soft service and of course the quality of the dishes that have been served us.
