I booked this venue for a summer kickoff event. If we are paying good money to rent your venue for a specific time, we expect to have access for the entire duration. However, being kicked out early because Amy "had to be somewhere" was unacceptable. If she couldn't stay for the designated time, she should have taken the day off. We were forced to clean up early without any compensation or refund for the time we were not able to use the venue. It was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning or recommending this place to others. The business structure seems questionable if events are managed in this manner. Additionally, Amy had the audacity to take our food and still behave rudely.

I reserved this venue for my graduation party on a Saturday, and it was a disappointing experience. The manager, Amy, was unwelcoming and rude from the moment we arrived. Despite having rented the space, Amy allowed public customers to enter during our event, causing disruptions. When I asked to borrow a Sharpie from the counter, she refused, believing I wouldn't return it. Additionally, Amy insisted that we leave by 7:35 pm, even though our rental was until 8 pm and we had already cleaned up. She locked up early and ignored us when we knocked on the door to retrieve a forgotten phone. When I requested to change the music from country to hip-hop, Amy made it clear she didn't approve. Despite having a liquor license for the party, Amy watched us with negative energy, making us feel uncomfortable. I offered her food from our party, which she accepted, but her attitude remained mean and disrespectful. In summary, her behavior was unwelcoming and possibly racist towards my guests and me. I do not recommend booking this place if Amy is the manager on duty, as she truly ruined what should have been a joyous celebration.

My friend and her family booked this venue for her graduation party last weekend, but we had a very unpleasant experience with the barista working there. She was extremely unwelcoming and rude, wearing a scowl on her face the entire time and making snarky remarks. Despite being told we could stay until 9pm, she insisted we leave before 8 because she had plans. To make matters worse, she helped herself to some of our food without permission and continued to be rude. If the venue does not want to host events, they should not allow bookings and take the money. After this experience, I definitely would not return to this restaurant.

They were so rude and pushy. We paid a lot of money to be on that space and the staff person kept mean mugging us. It made all of us uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

A beautiful idea! This coffee shop is ran by the church next door as a non profit to support the community. The prices are decent, drinks are good, and it has a nice, spacious and clean dining area. The biggest issue by far is getting to it. For some reason there is a large pad of concrete in front without line, that isn't parking. So if you need mobility parking, you are out of luck. This leaves only curb parking across the street from a high school. If you visit right before school starts or ends, then forget it. I went as part of a big group and parked a block away across a busy street. So though it shouldn't keep you from visiting, allow time for practicing your parallel parking skills.
