Panera Bread - Puyallup
Panera Bread
Description
A neighborhood café offers friendly, attentive staff and a convenient drink membership, but visits are hit-or-miss. Customers praise customer-facing employees and improved cleanliness, yet menu changes, missing ingredients, small portions and occasional microwaved or low-quality items undermine value. Service is fast for some pickup members but often slow during rushes or with third-party delivery, suggesting understaffing. Ideal for quick drinks and loyal app users; not for those who expect consistent meal quality.

I paid for Unlimited Sip Club for the year which allows me to get fountain drinks (soda, coffee, lemonade) every 2 hours. I work nearby and it's convenient. I order on the app and then head to the counter for the cup. Sometimes the guy just hands me a cup after I walk in. The charged lemonades are so nice on a hot summer day when you need caffeine. That's not on the drink counter anymore because of high caffeine content. But if you order on the app, the drink is waiting for me by the pick up shelf. During lunch rushes, the place is so busy with customers but I just get my drink and get out within a minute.
This restaurant is poorly managed. We stopped by to try their new menu and ordered the Italiano sandwich. What we got was missing half the ingredients listed in the description and the photo. It consisted of just bread, salad, cheese, and peppers—no lettuce or tomatoes as promised. It cost $14, which feels like a rip-off. I wouldn't recommend going here; it's unlikely you'll receive what you actually order. ADDITIONAL: Panera reached out to me and said they would send a gift card for another sandwich, but that was the last I heard from them. I never received the gift card or any credit on my Panera card.
I am a door dash driver and they are always helpful and hustling to get orders ready on time
Oh no. The white-haired manager is a real problem for both customers and staff.
