Bei diesen Preisen hatten wir ein qualitativ höherwe... read more Leider wurden wir an diesem Abend schwer enttäuscht, da die Speisekarte nicht das hielt was sie verspricht. Bei diesen Preisen hatten wir ein qualitativ höherwertiges Essen erwartet. Was uns dann serviert wurde war rein optisch nett angerichtet aber die zu erwartende Geschmacksexplosion war ein Rohrkrepierer. Mein Iberico Schwein war so versalzen, dass der Fleischgeschmack ausblieb. Den Dorsch auf den Tellern der anderen Gäste musste man mit einer Lupe suchen (4x4cm großes Stück). Das kann man bei einem Mehrgängemenü servieren, jedoch nicht als Hauptgericht. Wenn man bei der Scholle schon den freien Platz des großen Tellers mit Salatblättern auffüllen muss kann man wenigstens eine Vinaigrette darüber träufeln o.ä., aber weder das noch standen Essig und Öl zur Verfügung. Während des Essens gab es vom Service keinerlei Nachfragen. Jegliche Einsicht und Entschuldigung nach Anmerkung oben genannter Umstände blieb aus. An diesem Abend waren im Außenbereich vier Tische besetzt und im Innenbereich kein Einziger, so dass man nicht unbedingt von einer Überlastung des Personals sprechen kann.Wir bedauern es uns so negativ äußern zu müssen, aber wir waren stinksauer, nie wieder!!!

The food is exciting and excellent. Starters pair interesting taste combinations, while the main courses experiment with different ways to prepare some German standards like potatoes. Fish dishes are superb.

Local products and seafood were excellent, such as ambience and presentation. Our food was served by extremely competent and helpful staff who proposed a wonderful German wine to accompany our fish. We talked to them for age groups after our meal, while we tasted a post-dinner whisky. They were interested in why we had come to Rugen (not many non-Germans do and made recommendations for our coming days.
