My husband and I celebrated our 26th anniversary at Enver's, and we had a wonderful dinner with exceptional service from Brad. He was friendly and incredibly attentive, adding a lovely touch by placing a candle on each of our desserts. He even took pictures for us! We visited this restaurant about seven years ago for our anniversary and fondly remembered the delightful experience we had. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Thank you, Enver's, for making our anniversary a truly memorable evening!
Dissapointing. Wine cocktail seemed stale as if bottle open too long, food isn't up to previous standard at all. Waitress is friendly but a bit too officious.?will give this place a rest until they renovate and redesign menu and get a good chef.
Coming from Elmira area, it is certainly not the closest spot for us, but the food and the service are well worth the drive, once in a while.
When the appetizer was served, the young man merely placed it on the edge of our table without explaining the items on the tray, forcing us to guess what we were eating. I ordered the fish special, which was pickerel, and it was quite good, but it came with only a few roasted Brussels sprouts. My husband ordered the seafood pasta, but when it arrived, it shockingly contained no seafood! The waitress offered freshly ground pepper when she served our meals, which we accepted, and we didn’t realize the absence of seafood at first. My husband searched through the pasta, hoping to find at least a little seafood, but there was nothing. We had to call the waitress over to confirm whether this was indeed the seafood pasta we had ordered. She apologized and promptly took the plate back to the kitchen, returning about five minutes later with a fresh dish that included generous portions of shrimp and scallops. In such situations, most restaurants would offer a complimentary meal or some form of discount due to the error, but that was not the case here. Given the overall decline in quality, possibly due to a new chef and subpar wait staff, we will not be returning. The photos we took clearly illustrate the stark difference between the seafood pasta with and without the seafood—it's a significant disparity, wouldn’t you agree?
