Velocity Wings - Purcellville

It is a sad day when the owner/manager fires a college student (Luke) who is asking to work another job in addition to the one he HAD with Velocity so he can pay his college tuition. The owner/manager fired him on the spot. Needless to say Luke was one of the best servers and best young man, my wife and I know. We have been loyal patrons of Velocity Wings in Purcellville until this happened. Luke is now at The Purcellville Pub and that is where we are taking our business.

Enjoy the Velocity Wings in Fairfax. This place not so much. The wings were small and bad. Feathers on them. Wings are not cheap and quality should be much better. Will not be back to this place.

The wings were all overcooked and strict. Garlic parmesian was oily and the Bourbon sauce tasted like cough syrup. Super beautiful place and really nice staff. Maybe the boss was gone the night. Odd, the wings are what these guys are known for, and they were the wings that all sucked in. The cheeseries tasted good. Also: Make sure to avoid the water... it tasted like straight toilet water and filled water was obviously not an option.

I love speed wings as most people in this city do. They have amazing wings (duh) and usually amazing food. I ordered, tonight, cheeseries and the kids Mac and cheese. The cheeseries are great. They smell amazing and look fantastic. I'm more angry that I paid $8 for strength Mac and cheese. Before someone does not say it, strength has a pronounced taste and look. I also pay for the pommes, but the most important thing I ordered was the Mac and cheese. It's just a little disappointing. If I want strength, I'll buy strength. It sure won?t cost me $8.

Sonny is the best bartender ever!!! Mary Bretagne is also amazing. Hands down best in town. The management staff (Joel) is great. Always hospitable. Best food in purcellville. Eat here at least 4-5 days a week. Try more than half of the menu and it is always delicious. Love it here!
