Very nice restaurant on egholm. they are pet friendly and we could sit outside with our dog, they even gave her some water, which was beautiful. even though the... read more Very nice restaurant on egholm. they are pet friendly and we could sit outside with our dog, they even gave her some water, which was beautiful. even though they hosted an event in the restaurant, the service was nice and fast. the food tasted good and is served in good amount. prices are somewhat touristy, but nothing too expensive if you look at the Danish average. the restaurant is only a few steps away from the ferry arrives, so it is easy to get there and you can even go to egholm, just to eat there. there are free parking when crossing with their car.

Greatest food, interesting dishes, selection of good wines, real gem! Pasta with white truffles is the best I had in my life!

B... read more To start with, the positive points; very nice and calm garden terrace, friendly staff at the beginning and a menu that promises a fantastic meal à l'Italiana. But then; the requested chilled red wine came with a temperature of some 30 degrees, which equaled the air temperature that evening. After a long wait of well over an hour the food arrived. Out of the eight dishes, two were good, three eatable and three simply terrible. Never worth the really high prices. The service quality deteriorated throughout the dinner. We will certainly not go back and cannot recommend the place.
