(Vier Stern for Punxsy area. Stay at Country Villa Sept. 2018; other motels in the city have been booked. Owners were very friendly and every time we saw that they would ask if we needed something. To be an old building, the Kurb appeal must be updated. (They will probably come later. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you have stayed there in the past, try again. You'll be surprised by the difference. No mold, no dust, no lid spray.

This place is terrible. If they had an inspector, he would be completely shut down. Granite her staff is very nice and pleasantly fast with service and her householders always work hard. The place is a garbage dump. The rooms are falling apart. You have a terrible smell. They needed a new place. Fixing this mess is impossible. When I stayed, the housekeepers tried their best to please me and my family. They tried to get the smell out of the room, but be embedded in the walls. This place needs new beds. Burn holes in the comfort, pillows are evil, and the mattresses are terrible.
Just wonderful! the food was house style, large portions like Grandma would make and just as delicious! the land stylized setting and photographs of the area hanging on the wall were just another pleasant thing in this place. the staff was wonderful here as well as very fast with service and a pleasant demeanor
This was my first visit and when I come back, I will definitely stay there again. Your typical hole in the wall motel in a small town, but I was very impressed. The owner or manager (not sure what he was) was very friendly, warm and welcoming. He was very tailored to our needs. Our room was clean and smells good. The shower, A/C, fridge and cable TV all worked very well. His cheap, we stayed 2 nights and it was worth every penny.
Its nice to see a family owned business ran by just that, family. It is a husband wife team that single handedly tends to this place! Its quiet, nobody bothers you, Taco Bell... If your from Ohio and like Taco Bell try the one across the street. You won't be disappointed. Wal-Mart is located in the same plaza. Your pretty much a half hour from a bunch of things to do. Back to the hotel. Its clean, rooms are comfy, everything you need for a weekend stay. My only discrepancy, some minor maintenance issues. I am a maintenance man and notice certain things. Nothing alarming just noticeable. Worth every penny for the stay.
I loved Country Villa. I had some really good talks with Tim, the owner, and by the time I left I felt like family. The motel is old but spotlessly clean and comfortable. I'm not looking for fancy just clean and comfortable and that's what Country Villa is all about. I highly recommend it.
