Pata Larga Club Playa - Puntarenas

One of the best hidden gems in costa rica. We landed here by chance when we drove to San Jose and wanted a short stop to see the beach. Beautiful pool and deck chairs for relaxing. No tourists, only locals. They play great latin music, such a beautiful mood. The food is also incredibly good. I had a mixture of mussels/shells in garlic oil, really wore one of the best I ever had, not even considering the price. They also serve high-quality cocktails, we absolutely loved the Mojito and Sangria, just for a few dollars per. Definitely worth a visit if you are on the go and need a break to relax for a few hours.

Excellent family atmosphere. The food is somewhat expensive, but very good, it is worth it. Of course, it tends to get very crowded, I recommend that you go early.

Very nice local restaurant, that is not a tourist place, it is especially for the Costa Ricans.
