Marea Baja - Puntarenas

I'm an American, I have to say that first. It is a beautiful and clean place where they serve your own juices, for them I didn't care, just not my taste. We had to make records. You serve rice, your choice is two to choose. Then different types of meat you can choose and a filled tomato that was good. There is a good amount of choice and quantity you get for the money. I wouldn't come back because it was kind of dirty, but it was fast to fill a budget.

You have to stop when you drive the 34 motorway. Our driver recommended this place for lunch (on the way from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio). Our criteria were fast, cheap, local and good. This place fits the bill well. We went for buffet you choose your meat and sides, and you can go several times for salad bar, fruit and soft drinks. The place was full of locals. I loved their selection of seafood (shrimp and fish). Very recommended to stop there.

As far as a Costa Rican Soda (family restaurant) goes, this is pretty good. Here for lunch, and I don't think I have to eat now!

This place used to be pretty great. Had to fight for decent sized portions this time and the pork was so over cooked... I think it was from the day before. I won't be back. Plenty of better places down the road a bit.

I think this is the best soda in Jaco. Great place for typical Costa Rican food and everything always tastes good. It's cheap and you get a lot of food for what you pay. There are also many options, so there is something for everyone. We love to come here to recharge after surfing or hiking
