Bowie's Point - Puntarenas

The food was delicious and the drinks were strong – especially the cartridge Margarita! It was an unforgettable stop right on the highway. Seafood ceviche, patacones con atún, and the spicy tuna poke were crazy and service was super friendly. Absolutely if you're in the area!

Decent food, beautiful place and questionable morals The food was very it or miss depending on what was ordered. Chicken sandwich was the best with the nachos being the worst. Amazing view of sunset and a very nice pig. They asked we pay cash and tried to over charge us by 50$ USD and got frustrated when corrected them. The meal was already quite pricy. Overall fine just be careful

Love the atmosphere here! You must try the sushi bowl to sneak a picture with the massive pig, and love on a few of the wild dogs all while watching surfers catch waves!

Lovely place by the aptly-named Playa Hermosa. The service was prompt attentive (I forget the lovely waitperson's name); the breakfast was ample, hot and delicious and a good value. I would give it 5 stars but too many flies made quite a disraction. Pura vida! I still recommend Bowie's for excellent service for variety of menu

Great vibes all the time. Good service and food. Tu Espanol, no Bueno! All right, employees speak enough English to get you what you want and do you want to try to learn more Spanish, lol. Roger leads the place where he makes you as if you are part of the band, so much fun... Fyi, don't leave the pig, Lol.
