What Anonym dislikes about Selvin:
My wife and I shared the 1/2 Rondon to start, the curried shrimp and a 600g lobster. They were incredibly tasty, great recommendation Lonely Planet. The experience was let down by a disappointingly slow service (drinks didn’t arrive until half way through the starter), the need to ask for the lobster cracker and offering poor value for money compared to other restaurants in the area. I had an amazing vegan main course at this restaurant, featuring fresh vegetables, coconut rice and beans, fried plantains, and a refreshing salad with apples. It was only 4200 colones and very satisfying. They also had other vegan options for starters and the staff was helpful in guiding me on what was suitable for vegans.

Great food. I have a vegetarian and a Caribbean chicken and both were amazing. The mint limonade had mixed the mint and was super refreshing. The ice coffee is really coffee mixed with ice cream, but was still very good. Everyone was super friendly and when we arrived the next day, they let us use the bathroom before they were opened. Beach is just 2 minutes walk on the street and super beautiful.
Absolutely divine cuisine! 5 stars for Rondon soup and Caribbean chicken! Essential and so delicious. You have to wait for your court for a while, but it's worth it. Pura vida!

Selvin's Latin Cuisine is a great place to eat. I got the Mum's Favorite, the salmon with lemon butter sauce, vegetables and rice. It was wonderful, very flavorful and the veg's were cooked perfectly. There are so many great dishes to choose from and I look forward to going back often. They've only been open 3 days, but the service was excellent. I hear breakfast is great too.
