It seems like location wants to cut costs by using thin crust for all their orders or maybe stretching the medium dough to the size of a large pizza. The past two orders we have placed have been absolutely horrible. Papa John’s has always been our favorite for their soft, fluffy crust. While waiting for my cheesesticks I asked the young man at the front how long it would be till they were done since online projected 15 minutes and I got there around 15 minutes later. She said to the young man that asked, whenever I can get to them. Then as more orders came in she yelled, OH COME ON! As soon as I 'm done with one another comes in!When the cheesesticks finally got to me I said hey I 'm gonna need this cheesestick remade to the boy at the counter. He went and told her and she asked him why. Then she came over to me and told me that 's the way it comes out every time and that they can 't control it. That if she remakes it, it 's just gonna come out the same way. I asked her if she had a pizza fork to pop the bubbles, she said yes she did and asked, did you see that boy running the oven? And that I was over there making pizzas? Like I was some kind of idiot. I asked if she had the roller to prep the dough because if you do it twice it gets the bubbles out. That I 'd worked for papa johns for a year. She said she 'd worked there three years, she knows how to make them, her GMs have approved cheesesticks to go out worse than that one and that they don 't have any control how they go out. I said, that 's amazing because we never sent out cheesesticks like that. I told her that all I was asking for is what is advertised and I need it remade. She said okay then I 'm gonna have to charge you for a new one. (I 've never known that to be Papa John 's policy- afterward I called the Peachland location explaining what happened and they made me a new one). I told her I 'd need my cheesesticks then (they had been put back on the heater rack after I said I needed them remade) and asked for her name and she told me that was none of my business because I could talk to any of the GMs in the area and they 'd tell me the same thing. I had to ask the young boy on his way out the door if he 'd hand me my cheesesticks because she just turned around and walked out the back door.
I ordered a Shaqaroni. It didn't look or taste any different than a regular pepperoni pizza. Certainly nothing like the commercial. I will never go there again.
