Ihop - Punta Gorda

We absolutely love the food at this restaurant and enjoy coming here with my daughter. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The interior is very clean, including the bathrooms. It's a perfect spot to bring the kids, especially if they love breakfast.

The service provided by our excellent waitress, Renee, was exceptional. The food was delicious. The manager even offered to assist Tom, who needed help using a cane.

This restaurant experience was absolutely horrible. The waitress forgot most of our order, including my drink which I didn't receive until the end of my meal. She also forgot our sides and left us alone in the restaurant to go smoke with the cook, even though we were the only customers there. When we were finished with our meals, we were left sitting there with no check. When I went outside to signal that we were ready to pay, she threatened to call the police. The service was terrible and we did not receive a receipt. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone - go anywhere else.

We were running late to catch our flight, but managed to sit down for dinner on a Sunday evening. Our waitress quickly took our drink orders and we told her about our time constraints. She efficiently took our order and we were in and out in no time. The service was excellent.

Our experience at this restaurant was not good. We arrived at 10 am and waited 10 minutes to be seated, as a party of two. After giving our simple order to the waitress, we waited for FIFTY minutes with no sign of our food or waitress. When we asked another waitress about our order, we saw our original waitress cooking with the cook and discussing the missing order. Despite the real cook apologizing for the mistake, the waitress/cook did not. We have eaten breakfast here many times before and have always been pleased, but this time we left hungry and disappointed and will not be returning. It's time to try out Waffle House instead.
