We have visited several locations of this restaurant, both during the peak season and off-season, and generally enjoyed good meals and service. However, this visit for Sunday brunch was our least favorite. While I appreciate that the outdoor seating is dog-friendly, there was a rather large dog drooling on our table, and it frequently jumped on its owners. It was quite off-putting, and I can only hope they properly c... View all feedback.
What Terrence Blick doesn't like about Bella's Bistro:
The homemade chips were soggy, and the mac and cheese was disappointing—overcooked pasta with very little cheese. The beans were also lacking (I recommend just buying Bob Evans' six-cheese mac and replicating that recipe instead). Food fatty, egg casual, over price for this type of atmosphere 40.00 dollar for omelett, eggs over simple speck!?
The food was really good and the prices as well. But, this place is a hole in the wall and would not be a setting that many would like or find consistent with any other of my Open Table experiences.
Hidden gem serving breakfast until closing and lunch. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had a old favorite that my Mom used to make-dill pickle soup. Delicious! Also ordered the two portabella mushrooms stuffed with roasted garlic, tomatoes, and mozzarella. My husband ordered and enjoyed the goulash soup and the Bernard, or reuben sandwich. Looking forward to going back to enjoy something from the extensive breakfast menu. PS love the old fashioned brick alley with the archway, or bower, of flowering greenery right near Bella Bistro.
Delightful food with ambiance. The customer service was personable and efficient.
A Sunday with my friend. We sat outside on the terrace, there was a wonderful musician playing music. We order **** Mary's and lemonade, both great! I ordered lunch, a sandwich comparable to a Philly but 10x better. He got breakfast; Eggs, Toast, Hash Browns, Grieß, Speck, all on a huge plate. We will be back, new favorite spot
