Carmelo's Italian - Punta Gorda Isles

Excellent early dinner. eating is well prepared and served with style. the restaurant is warm and welcoming. outside the sitting area looks good, will try to visit the next. if they like to cook Italian style, worth a visit

I had an amazing night out with my girlfriends at this restaurant. They have a wide variety of options available! The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with lovely outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly. They only offer a happy hour at the bar, but with delicious appetizers at reduced prices. The bar was full so we sat in the dining room, where the service was top-notch. The cocktails were expertly made, my dirty martini was perfectly dirty and had a hand-stuffed bleu cheese olive. The lentil soup was delectable, as well as the caprese salad and flatbread. However, the highlight was definitely the Caesar salad - the best I've ever had! As a cook and world traveler, I've never had a salad as good as this one. It consisted of crispy dark romaine, fresh bleu cheese, crispy bacon, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. An epic culinary experience! I can't wait to come back to Carmelo's, it's truly a must-visit spot in Punta Gorda. I was so caught up in enjoying the food that I didn't even think to take pictures.

The restaurant may be a bit pricy, but it is definitely worth it. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent.
