Husseny Bakery - Pune

Legendary old bakery in the lane of taboot street.<br/ My father used to always bring home the broons and claim husseny has the best broons. It's amazing and crusty to eat with any gravy item<br/ <br/ The other breads, pao and buns are also fresh, soft and tasty.<br/ The sweet items are OK types, not too great.<br/ Nice patties too.<br/ <br/

I love old Irani bakeries. Each of them are unique in their own way and have their own speciality. For me there are two things that stand out at Husseny, the Broon and traditional Irani Naan both these go super well with meaty gravies!

Good old Pune charm.<br/ <br/ Husseny is one of the oldest bakeries in Pune. It serves some of the best plum cakes, Irani naan, lamington cakes and twisted khari in Pune.<br/ <br/ Lately I discoverd that their pizza base are super soft and are perfect to make home made pizza.<br/ <br/ Do give it a try if you are traveling in camp area.

One of the old bakery if pune camp. The breads and the brune served here are one of the freshest. Mut buy their khaari also. I would certainly recommend this place.

A vintage presence off Main Street. Pune. It has its own charm and signature Plum Cake, Cream rolls, Jam rolls, Buns and Broons. One of the few remnant true Irani bakeries at Pune.Give it a try next time you are at Mains.
