It is an excellent place to eat housed within a small pond. The bridge leads to the restaurant. We had very good Kerala style sadya. Though the food was good, more than the food itself, the way we were served and attended to and the beauty of the place was what satisfied me fully. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Motel Araam, Kottarakara Restaurant:
It's not a motel in true terms, just a place to rest towards or in middle of any of your journey. Decent refreshment centre is attached to it which will also serve the purpose. View all feedback.
Good location. enough parking available. meal quality was ok. toilets are not clean and smells really bad. I'll advise you to stay away from the washrooms. never expected this from a KTDC chain.
Ktdc as a Govt company can take more wall in active menu and cleanliness. the personal was very limited and felt like it was running around the name. small changes can make big results.
Also ktdc never fails in terms of food quality. their customer service is also good. the restaurant was set up in 1989. So the building is old. the only problem is that their toilets need an upgrade and need to be cleaned more often. lots of parking.
I wish KTDC restaurants would be better than that. with an influx of good restaurants in the towns and even small towns of kerala, and some of the old ones who make a smash seemed to have missed the bus. there was nothing good about the simple dosa and the vada we had. I'm not sure if it's understated, but the toilets were pathetic.
Once this place was good, now the property the food they serve are not good. Plates are not clean. Not worthy for the price we pay.
