Porch Light Pizza - Pullman
Porch Light Pizza
Description
Nestled in the heart of Pullman, this pizza restaurant garners a split opinion among patrons. While the inviting atmosphere and friendly service draw people in, concerns about cleanliness and ingredient quality have surfaced. Many diners express disappointment with recent cuts to toppings and inconsistencies in order preparation. Despite these issues, the thin-crust pizzas with a build-your-own option remain a highlight. Customers appreciate the generous portions and affordable prices, along with a diverse beer selection. Overall, it remains a decent choice for pizza lovers, albeit with room for improvement in consistency and quality.

I stopped at this place while on a business trip. I built my own pizza and made a Hawaiian. There was a tiny mix up with my pizza. They deeply apologized and made it right very quickly. I do have to say that is the best pizza I've ever had. (And I eat A LOT of pizza. If you are a fan of thin crust pizza YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE. the staff very very friendly and for first timers they walk you through the process and sizes of the pizza. The price was good for the pizza. That red sauce for the pizza AMAZING. I'm upset I'm not local so I can have more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, you won't be disappointed.
Food was horrible, had the pizzas and not impressed. Hungry after and the pizza dough tasted like a knock off tombstone pizza. Go to mod pizza for much better food, same price point. Service was amazing though! But not worth the money for the food.
I ordered the Ben pizza because it's the closest thing to an all-meat pizza, but I added Canadian bacon and black olives. I also had a lunch special that came with a salad. The salad was average, but the creamy balsamic dressing was fantastic. The pizza was delicious and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was decent, but the restaurant could use some more appropriate decor.
The vegan pizza at this restaurant was not exceptional. I have had better options elsewhere. The crust was good, but overly coated in cornmeal. There could have been more vegetables on top as well. Despite these shortcomings, it is a decent option if you are looking for something local and don't want to make the trek to Mod in Moscow.
If you're unsure where to eat, Porchlight is a reliable choice. They offer personalized pizzas at a reasonable price, made to your specifications. They even have soy cheese for those who don't consume dairy. Personally, I prefer my pizza without cheese, with plenty of vegetables and a balsamic reduction. Their salads are also delicious, with the Greek salad standing out even without feta. The restaurant has a cozy, local atmosphere that I've enjoyed for many years. #Veganuary
