Description

Tucked into the Palouse, this restaurant blends upscale-casual charm with warmly attentive service, fire-pit outdoor seating and live-music evenings. Cocktails—especially the grapefruit Forge Margarita—and classic dishes draw praise, with generous portions and polished presentation making it a go-to for celebrations. Expect slightly elevated prices and occasional inconsistencies (a charred burger cited), plus some noisy staff interactions. Reservations recommended for weekends; overall it’s a cozy, nostalgic spot favored for date nights, family meals and special occasions.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. We chose to dine outside by the fire pit, which created a lovely ambiance. Our servers, Sophia and Austin, were incredibly attentive and professional throughout our meal. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The overall atmosphere was charming, with a nostalgic vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed everything! While the prices are on the higher side, the experience is definitely worth it!

I revisited The Foundry after letting it go for over a year because of poor service and mediocre food during my last visit. I’m pleased to say there has been a significant improvement! I can now confidently give it a positive review for its outstanding burgers, friendly and helpful staff, and a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. If you haven’t been in a while, I definitely recommend giving them another chance.

I returned the following day and had a wonderful experience. The staff during the day was very friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken Alfredo—it was fantastic! Their Bloody Mary is also exceptional. It did take about 21 minutes to receive our food, which I consider typical for Pullman based on my experiences. However, I would recommend not arriving after 7 PM, as the atmosphere changes quite a bit. Overall, I had a great experience, and it’s clear that they take pride in their food and drinks. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Always a good time here, with great staff and good options. That said, it would be nice if the menu changed more frequently, but what they have, they do well. If your food isn't 100%, they will graciously fix it to your liking. For those who complain about the included gratuity, it goes toward the kitchen staff, so TIP YOUR SERVER! They deserve it for all they do and won't see a dime otherwise.

My entree was good, but let's talk about the DESSERT! I had a lentil carrot cake, which sounds so odd (which is exactly why I decided to try it) and it was hands down the best thing I have eaten in the last 6 months. Wholy heck. The only thing better than the cake was the service. Everyone was attentive, but most importantly kind. I even had one of the staff run after me because I had left my to-do box of cake on the table accidentally. Hands down best dining experience in Pullman so far!
