Was User at Stir Fry Cafe a mag?
We came over this restaurant a few years ago and our family is ready to drive the city to dine here. One of our favorite restaurants. You've got a ride. Your meals are fast, tasty and cheap. You don't have a nice decor. Food is great. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Stir Fry Cafe:
It was disappointed with her rice, which we could see that they take the night rice from the cool room and heat up the microwave to present us. The proportion of food seems to be smaller. will not go back View all feedback.

It has been a busy Sunday, shopping, lunch with the Kan Dos and more shopping. Not wanting to cook tonight we drove 3 minutes to our local Cantonese restaurant, Stir Fry. John (the Owner/Chef), has been stirring and frying in Brisbane for almost 40 years. I first tried his cooking at the Golden Dragon on Edward Street in 1980. Arriving at 6pm the restaurant is bustling with diners. The indoor tables are taken so we take a table outside. I order a Sang Chow Kuat (fried battered pork in Peking sauce), Teo Chiu Duck and a Wong Kum Tofu (fried tofu and seafood sauce). Typical Cantonese dishes. The dishes start coming out within 15 minutes. The Sang Chow Kuat is simply the best in Brisbane. The duck dish is generous with half a duck served in a soy sauce infused with spices. The fried tofu with diced veges, prawns and squid is delicate and flavourful. Our lunches and dinners here are always good and prices are reasonable. Tonight's dinner including rice and Chinese tea for three came to $60. Even on John's days off his sous chef's cooking is excellent. Consistency is John's secret to success and Stir Fry is my little Cantonese gem in the suburbs.

Awesome authentic stir fries, with a heart-felt smile on the face. been increasing the price over the years , but still being one of the cheapest in town
We ordered takeout from here last night. From the initial phone call to place our order, we received quality service. Our order was ready when we arrived, which was the 20 minutes we were told it would be. Our food was amazing and certainly the best chinese food we have ever had in Brisbane. My husband, who is Canadian, has not liked any of the Chinese food he has eaten in Australia since moving here five years ago, but he has given the food from here huge accolades. The Restaurant part of this establishment was extremely busy, which shows you the quality of their food. For quality, quantity, price and Customer Service the Stir Fry Cafe is highly recommended by us.
Decided on take-away for dinner one Friday night and thought the menu looked good here. We got the Mongolian beef, combination omelette, and just some spring rolls. Generous servings and decently priced. Except our omelette was leathery and tasted like it had been cooked hours ago. Unfortunately that let down the whole meal.

Classic Chinese food. Got all the classics everyone knows and loves. I’d say the best in the local area. A bit greasy but you can’t expect anything different.
Best Chinese in Western Suburbs. I don 't often rave about restaurants, as evidenced in my mostly critical reviews of other places, but this little unassuming place, nestled in a carpark lot, has one of the best Chinese in Brisbane. <br/ <br/ Forget ambience, chandeliers, etc. This place is all about the food. Headed by a Hong Kong chef who 's been here for decades, food is always cooked to a very high standard, on par with good food places in Hong Kong. <br/ <br/ Thing is, Stir Fry has a 'Western menu ' serving all the usual Western Chinese dishes, but it also has a Chinese menu serving the local Chinese/Malaysian. Singaporean/Taiwanese populace. Go there on a weekend and you 'll see tables of Chinese eating off the menu. Have a look at what they 're eating and order off their table!<br/ <br/ It 's never expensive here, even the fresh, swimming seafood. Long may you continue, Stir Fry. Thank you.
The stir fries at this restaurant are truly authentic and delicious, served with a warm smile. While prices have been going up over the years, this place is still one of the most affordable in town.
This place is truly worthy of the glowing reviews it has. I am so, SO happy I decided to check Stir Fry Cafe out it only took me five years since I live right down the road but better now than never! Stir Fry Cafe is very unassuming in appearance but the food is absolutely fantastic very fresh, and the portions are huge. It is not the cheapest Chinese place but the price is a reflection of the quality of food. This isn't some greasy, msg ridden suburban Chinese the food here is superb and I will be recommending Stir Fry Cafe to everyone I know. We ordered the prawn laksa soup, hokkien noodles with king prawn and fish with ginger and shallots all of which were fantastic, I could not pick a favorite dish. I was impressed with the generous amount of prawns that came with each dish they do not skimp out! Looking forward to eating here again soon.
I discovered that this restaurant was still open (almost 9 pm) on my way back from work, so I decided to order a quick takeaway. There were plenty of options on the menu, the prices were affordable, the flavors were delicious, the portions were large, and the service was fast.
