What Susan R doesn't like about Riverhouse:
I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. The staff was friendly, and my meal was served quickly, but unfortunately, the food was bland and left me feeling unwell. Spending six hours in the bathroom while on vacation definitely impacts my rating. I'd recommend avoiding the haddock. On a positive note, I did appreciate the York peppermint patty instead of a regular after-dinner mint! View all feedback.
First time there. The wait staff were perfessional and helpful. The food was well prepared, homemade, delicious and large portioned. The carrot cake for dessert was fresh and big enough to share. We really enjoyed our evening, Val was delightful and knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back, hopefully next week.

On Friday night myself and three others came in for a 6:30 dinner. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient .I can't say enough about our meals. Two of us ordered the filet tips with caramelized onions and mushrooms, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts . It was FANTASTIC !!!!!! We can't wait to come back and enjoy another meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening out.
Very nice. Clean Environment. Had a choice of outside eating as well....waitress was very personable and helpful!!!...Food was delish!!!
