Today this establishment was visited, waiters were friendly. ordered the Schnapsburger, wedges, onion rings and shrimps. Food was nice and hot and very tasty, schnapps was perfectly cooked and the portions were big, so no one went away hungry. Something of a hidden gem, but worth the journey solid 10 for me. What Doug Embling doesn't like about The Village:
Bar staff need training to communicate with one another and to serve the customers in arrival sequence. I waited for some time at one end of the bar while bar staff appeared from the back room at the other end to serve whoever was in front of them. I wasn't being paid for my time, they were!
