Contribute Feedback What Tobias Morais doesn't like about Cafe Sa Placa De Galilea:
I do not recommend going up to Galilea to eat here as you risk having to return without eating. On a Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the middle of August, we asked for a table for 2 diners and they told us that they are already closing the kitchen because they had had large tables. A table of 8 diners was literally left outside and the rest of the premises and terrace were empty. A pity since in Google they say that they ar... View all feedback.
We booked a lunch time table on the balcony (excellent views) and were treated to really tasty tapas and sharing plates, with friendly and efficient service. A great find.
Lovely local place, happy to have discovered this. Would advice to to everyone! Parking can be a bit difficult but it seems somewhere there is always a spot
Oh my goodness I think we've found a new favourite place! Definitely one of the favourites. Excellent food, friendly professional service, good prices and an absolutely amazing view. We had P'amb Oli, Pork in a caramelised onion sauce and Garlic Mushrooms. All excellent! Also 4 coffees and a bottle of sparkling water plus a large portion of baked cheesecake. Total bill under €30.00 Remember Galilea is nearly 1500 feet high, and the terrace is in the open air so dress for being 5 degrees cooler than at sea level. Can't wait to come up here in summer when it's boiling in Palmanova. It's only open daytimes at the moment,, (May) but will open evenings for the summer. If you want to sit on the terrace overlooking the valley and the sea it's recommended that you book, 971 147 206. Very very highly recommended!
