Wonderful spot, great food. Saw the other review about the marguerita ...this gringa thinks Las Brazzas serves the best margueritas she has ever tasted ($25 pesos ea!). Two drinks, bottled water, shrimp enchiladas, chicken Caesar salad and a beef taco $305 pesos, wonderful service. Delicious. We loved it. View all feedback.
What Миомир Милеуснић doesn't like about Las Brazzas Grill:
We sat at an outside table with a grubby cloth...the gringo couple at the next table swore the margaritas were excellent. Ordered some, and they were the worst, most undrinkable concoctions ever. The couple we were with did not want to complain or send them back, so we paid and left - but I did let the server know they were simply awful. He tried to give our money back, which was nice, but I said no - please just try... View all feedback.
We have been going to this restaurant since 1994. The tortilla soup is excellent, prices very reasonable, and service always very friendly. Everything we've ordered through the years has been very tasty.
Excellent shrimp enchiladas, marlin tacos, and of course, margaritas! Love the location in the adorable plaza of the cultural center. Quiet and peaceful with lots to look at.
Las Brazzas is located almost at the end of the Isla Cuale, at the bottom of the new igauna footbridge. It would be easy to dismiss this little place, but if you stop you will find a warm welcome, a cold drink and good homemade food. This is very much a no frills bar/ restaurant run by father and daughter. The outside tables, set under palm trees, provide a view of Gringo Gulch and the Cultural Centre plaza. Margaritas and beers are 25 pesos. They have daily specials which will vary from smoked marlin tacos or shrimp dishes, and some of the best guacamole and tortilla soup (55 pesos) in Puerto Vallarta.Dinner dishes range from various fajitas and enchiladas to steak, breaded chicken breast parmesan, to shrimp, and fish fillet.Prices range from 20 pesos for some appetizers up to 250 pesos for some entrees.
After a very long walk we arrived at the park and one of our favorite little restaurants. If you really like cold beer, this is the place to stop. They had a fish taco special, 3 for 50 pesos. They were excellent and worth going back again. Worth the walk to the end of the park.
We weren't sure of this restaurant when we started walking on the east side of Isla Cuale. As others mentioned many shops were closed until you reach the cultural center. We sat outdoors and had a very reasonably priced lunch for four with inexpensive Margaritas. ($1.50 US.) They were somewhat sweeter and Americanized compared to other places, but the food was quite traditional and tasty. Total bill was less than $40 including gratuity and several drinks. The owner/Chef even comped us a Bailey's shot at the end of lunch.
