What User doesn't like about The Gypsy's Lair Art Cafe:
nothing special in this hippie restaurant except the max on christmas kitch allover the place with annoying crismas music bell music as extra. the people where polite, but a really unfortunate day I had thought could be a cozy place in the 60s,70s, but it is 2019. eating, small portions, was delicious, but cold wet sticky rice is not my favorite. No, not my idea of restaurant. View all feedback.
After the recommended case here. service was quite slow considering that it was quiet. sold to limit some meal options. small portions and after my opinion overpriced. they enjoy local beer (but again consisted of the one I wanted to try). had some good songs on a playlist and the chips we are good (although only a few on the board). I personally wouldn't return. tito ernie’s was much better quality and worth, best meal we had in pp.
Good food and prices were reasonable. We enjoyed the stuffed chilli with meat the most! Beer price was outrageous though, 210 pesos for a bottle!
There's nothing particular about this hippie restaurant, except for the excessive Christmas decorations everywhere and the annoying holiday music playing on loop. The staff were polite, but my experience was quite disappointing. I had hoped it would be a cozy spot reminiscent of the 60s or 70s, but it’s 2019 now. The small portion sizes were tasty, but the food was cold, wet, and sticky. Unfortunately, this is not my idea of a good restaurant experience.
The ambiance of this unique, dark, and mysterious artsy café-restaurant is a rare beauty. It's situated in the market (souvenir center) facing the airport terminal in Puerto Princesa. In addition to coffee, the menu features a fusion of various cuisines, including Mexican, Italian, Filipino, and more. They also offer alcoholic beverages and shisha for rent. The prices are affordable and suitable for most budgets. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The service staff are highly recommended.
We ordered two tomato grilled cheese sandwiches and waited over 30 minutes, only to receive them without cheese. We returned them and got replacements, but this time the fries were cold. We also ordered a burrito, which took even longer to arrive. When it finally came, it was cold and wrapped in plastic. Overall, the food was okay and the prices were reasonable, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place.
