Ignacio's - Puerto Princesa
Ignacio's
Description
Nestled in Puerto Princesa, this restaurant offers a nostalgic charm with simple decor reflecting its long-standing local appeal. Renowned for classic dishes like lomi and pancit, it attracts diverse generations, fostering a strong bond between locals and visitors. While food quality varies—with standout items like fried chicken, lumpiang sariwa, and mango shakes—some find certain dishes underwhelming or served cold. Service ranges from accommodating to inconsistent, and the atmosphere feels more casual than formal, resembling a bar in some respects. Parking may be limited, but overall, it remains a beloved spot for traditional Filipino fare and genuine local connections.

It's most like a bar, not restaurant, because the food is quite bad. Fish and chips is more like a beer snack with potato chips covered in some white powder. And my wife said that her soup was cold. But mango shake was good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Fortunately, the cook was a bit more accommodating and agreed to make me some cheese patties. However, I was shocked to see that the bill reflected the full price, with no discount or compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
